John is the person who informed us of the wearabouts of the Breece 3-window that Dewey Cherek of Milwaukee now owns. John says “ I bought that car in pieces and built it as it looks today. When I first completed it, I met Bill Breece at Columbus Ohio. He knew it was his old car, and was waiting for me to return to it. I took photos of Bill and the car at that time. I know that He fell, and has since passed on. His Son called Me, and is attempting to reconstruct another to match his Fathers as it was in 56. There is a photo in the Greenfield Village museum of Bills car in 56, that is large, and in a very prominent spot at the Ford museum to this day. The interesting thing is that Bill told Me that He channeled it, lengthened it, and sectioned the quarter area as it looks now. Therefore; the car as you see it. is what Bill ultimately wanted from the begining. He showed me a photo of it in front of the observatory in California, where James Dean had the knife fight in Rebel without a cause. Bill drove the car there in 56 from Lima Ohio. I arranged for the origional dashboard, with the Olds gauge pack, and the original license plate to be returned to Bills Son, which will aid Him greatly in His attempt to reconstruct the car. I hope Dewey gets the car to The Grand National in 07, so that it car be shared with serious Deuce Lovers at that time. I know that I and my Victoria will be in attendance at that time.”
